Tutorials

ASE ASE offers suitably qualified students the opportunity to meet - singly or in pairs - with professors for independent study following the model of Oxford University: the world renowned 'tutorial system'. Tutorials are conducted weekly, usually in the professor's study in Oxford, or at Nelson House in Bath, and students are encouraged to help devise courses based on their own interests, as well as the faculty member's expertise.

Tutorials are available only to students with a GPA of 3.4 or above, and are of particular relevance to those wishing to undertake senior/honours thesis work on their return home, and/or to continue their studies at graduate level. All tutorials are recommended for four credits.

There is an additional fee of £500 for all tutorials. This fee includes any travel expenses incurred.
