Dear Student,

ASE has been an intrinsic part of my life since I first joined the Programme in 1989. Along with everyone at ASE, I am committed to putting my years of experience into providing you with a first-rate study abroad programme.

As you look through our website, I am confident that you will be excited by the wide range of challenging courses we offer, the historic houses that will become your homes for a semester, a year, or a summer, and the many places we will take you to see (among them Oxford, Stonehenge and Stratford-upon-Avon in the semester, and Cornwall in the summer) - to say nothing of the other destinations you will discover for yourselves. You will find in ASE a small, supportive programme that combines a friendly, informal style with the highest standards and expectations.

Our many alums, now numbering well over a thousand, attest to the life-changing experience that ASE can bring. We hope that you will wish to become a member of the ever-extending ASE family and we all look forward to welcoming you to Bath.
